Roger had been living the good life, no worries, no problems living that American dream, that was until the 2008 crash. Like many people across the globe, he lost his job, his retirement, and on the verge of losing his home, but even more than that, his identity. Roger had to do what most in his situation had to do, find a job to survive, no matter what that job might be. Seeing a help wanted sign in the window of a small bar in town, he applied and got the job. They liked him so much, they gave him the keys and he would open and close almost every night. He had never been a bartender before, but he felt like he could be a good one. He was a real people's person and was very good at reading people. No one was a stranger to Roger, until one night when a much needed rain storm hit Statesville. That's the night when he showed up. What would he do? Let him in or let him stay outside in the rain?
