After being abducted from Earth and his memories obscured, Corbin Sterling awakes aboard a massive spacefaring generation ship streaking through space towards the Gliese-832 star system. He is joined by thousands of other memory-inhibited crew members who begin a rigorous training program under the mysterious Zero-Crew to become the lead caretakers of the ship and its mission. While a rogue AI-like entity influences Corbin and hints at the secret motive for their mission, growing discontent from many of Corbin's fellow crew members bubbles over into full-blown mutiny.
